I have seen many threads on algae issues. I guess there always have been and always will be. In most cases that means high nutrients nitrate, phosphate, TDS in RO/DI and just overall maintenance. Well it got me to thinking what can I do to improve my maintenance. I thought about it and thought I would start a thread on it so in the future if anybody wants to read up on it make suggestions to me on how to improve mine or how to improve there’s. So here goes mine. Post yours or let me know what is wrong or what I can do to improve mine. I think I have everything

please make suggestions to improve! Thank you

Not really maintenance but an auto top off would save you time and keep your water more consistent in the salt arena.

Yes! I would love an auto top-off but just don't have the room at the moment! I am hoping to be moving in the next year maybe two and upgrading to a 90g and at that point I will be able to add a tank/trash can for auto-top off

I am testing calcium daily at the moment to see what I am using and will be changing over a BRS 2-part system. I will be test alk everyday as soon as my new test kit gets here so that I know what I am using there too. I just started Mon and last night my calcium went from 480 to 470 on Tues. Will check it again tonight.
