Ok, guys I'm new at all this. I'm going big the 1st time, I'm also a Diy kind of guy, I got a 125 gallon Tank and I'm using a 55g for my sump.
I got everything I need for it but I need HELP on setting my baffles,
I set my socks and a bubble magus skimmer on left.
Skimmer>Ref>Return.
Skimmer are around 16" long.
Ref area around 17" long.
Return area 10".
My skimmer requires a 9.5-11 water level.
My problem that I have lost my hair. Lol, is the sump, I don't know how high I have to go on the baffles.
As you can see the pic the skimmer on the left than I the 1st baffle, I was thinking of doing the 1st baffle coming down to a 2" gap at bottom then a 1-1.5" gap to the 2nd baffle which it should be 9.5"-11" right? will have some teeth on top and water will fall to the ref, the the 3rd baffle which I don't know how high, should it also have teeth on top? Then the 4th baffle, how high. Should it be 1-2" of the bottom so the water goes thru the return area?.. I need help!!!!.
I have been trying to do this for the last 2weeks and nothing, I have no one around me to help, I have a couple of neighbors but their not a Diy like myself, they just go to the store and buy it already made, I don't have that kind of $$$.lol
