Nicely done, very clean. Are those LEDs? Do you use em for moonlights or something else? Got a build thread for that?

thanks, yeah those are the Powerbrite LEDs i use them as my Antinics, the little black box on the left one is the moonlight.

Bbout how much did the project cost? I think I'm going to have to do the same thing. I love atinics, I just don't have a canopy to do something retrofit.

i found the powerbrites on here for like 60-70 for the pair and all it needed was a pack of zipties i do get a bit of spotlighting so i might see if there is a way to change the lenses on them to get a wider beam

Vortech mp10 is on its way, got a good deal on it, $165. Only other stuff i need is some more salt and some sand and the tank will start cycling.

Ok, just bought a 200 gallon mix of TMPR and some new filter parts for my ro/di unit. Soon as everything gets here I can getthe ball rolling. I can't wait to get water in the bad boy.

Does your centerbrace make a shadow from you mh? I am about to get a lumenarc mini pendant with lumitek ballast and was thinking about mounting it dead center of the tank too but am worried about the shadow...

Looks great so far thought. I bought my 56 column but everything is hob (remora, aquaclear fuge). I will eventually drill it for a separate sump/fuge like you. =)

How loud is your overflow when water is running through it?

How big is that hole for your drain to the sump? Is that going to be sufficent? Seems quite small to me.

There's 2 3/4" inch drains feeding into 1 inch PVC. I get no noise it's dead silent. Handles the mag7 fine. Jay the centerbrace I originaly cut out and replaced with a clear sheet of acrylic, then I said and took that off so now I have no centerbrace at all . I know the tank can bow but it's been fine. Sorry for no updates but the 30 breeder sump I just bought cracked. My new one comes tomorrow. Ill post pics of the new vortecb I got tomorrow too.
