56G Column Seahorse Build

I use a small jelly jar, the decorative, shallow quilted ones for gifts. Then when I am going to feed I put my 2 ft. feeding tube in the jar and use a turkey baster to squirt mysis down the tube. That way I can remove the jelly jar when algae starts to build up on it and it is smooth with no sharp edges. Since it is clear glass it is low profile in the tank too. I have a kenya tree and 2 empty coco worm tubes around it for hitches.

You can just see the top of the jelly jar below where Eve is hitched. She sits and waits with a pathetic look on her face at meal time.

Thanks for the tips everyone. Once I did add the glass dish it did not take the female long to start eating mysis out of it, and the male followed after watching her eat for a bit so I think it will work. They hang off the sea finger that is above it and eat.

Did the video in my previous post work for anybody?

No, I could not view the video but I am using a tablet which is more limited than a 'real' computer.

Yes, this video worked and I loved it! I really like all the cirri that your seahorse has. It's almost as fuzzy as the gorg!

That sea finger is her favorite spot now, especially since I put the glass dish there. It's crazy how well she camouflages with it and how similar her cirri are to the polyps. Sometimes she lays across it and you would never know there was a seahorse there unless you really look hard.
