the reason is simple.....so I can add a second loop later and have one return for each outlet of the OM.

Yup...that's a good idea. Design in some flexibility. I had not thought to do that, but it would certainly be harder to do later!

thanks!

no problem.

I didnt know if I would need another pump on a closed loop, but better incorporate the possibility now than when the tank is full of fish and corals.

I can promise you that it is order of magnitudes less nerve racking then drilling a glass tank. :)

Yeah - and with a custom glass tank, you'd have probably had it predrilled.

absolutely. Almost crazy not to.

You all might find my thread interesting :p

Nice work! :D

Its cool how you put everything in perspective with your wife's size. I guess it makes it easier to visualize. How tall is your wife?

Cool Paul-

It seems that alot of reefers use there wives in there photos...

AKA the mermaid obsession seen in some theads lol :D

I would have shown you a mermaid picture if I had gotten around to taking the protective cover off the acrylic.......I have never actually been inside a tank before.....and this one was so large inside it didnt feel like I was in one either....

I bet we could round up a few bucks for a picture of you in a mermaid outfit laying in that tank Paul. Maybe the next comas logo?
