At this point in the build the only things hooked up are the reeflo hammerhead and my reef octopus ext 8000 skimmer

March 12 2015 the tank was officially up and running, I then started to hook up the rest of the equipment

The rest of my equipment is up and running at this point
4 jebao rw20 propeller pumps
Pan world 200ps ( to run fuge, media reactors, and calcium reactor)
Reef octopus cr5000 duel chamber calcium reactor
2 brs duel chamber media reactors

I had a friend from a local reef shop build it for me, the tank was 3400

That seems pricey I would've thought half that must've been mainly labor the epoxy couldn't be over 400$ the plywood probably 200$ and the glass maybe 600 or 700$ but hey all in all it was well worth it. it looks awesome

Nice. I'm building my 800g plywood currently. What size is that drain? And why only 1 drain line?
How thick is the glass? Reg or starfire?
Thanks

The 2 back sides are 3/4, the glass sides are 2x4 and all internal corners are braced with 2x4 angles cut the fit the length of runs. The top of tank on plywood sides is 1 1/2 4 inches down. The tank is also double fiber glassed inside and out

Nice.
My back plywood is 1", my sides and bottom are 3/4". My front frame is 2x4" bottom and sides. And the top front is 2x6". I decided not to filet the edges as I've read good and bad. But I did carbon fiber and resin all seams plus I have about 10 coats of BlueMax rubber paint on it as well. My glass is 3/4" plate glass. Was going to go starfire, but the price was nearly double. $1000 for reg glass, vs 1900-3800 for starfire. Plus only one place would deliver, it happened to be the cheapest place as well. So I ordere from them.
141"x38"x3/4" glass is large, so delivery is expensive

Looking very very nice :)

LOVE the RW20s as well. 4 must be crazy... they blow our WP60s out of the water...
