600 gallon tank

Looking very very nice :)

LOVE the RW20s as well. 4 must be crazy... they blow our WP60s out of the water...

I had worked mp 60's and they did not work properly through the plywood and fiberglass. The rw 20 pumps are only about half way up and are pu\ING out major current. I love them

Nice. I'm building my 800g plywood currently. What size is that drain? And why only 1 drain line?
How thick is the glass? Reg or starfire?
Thanks

That drain is 1 1/2 and is easily handling the reef hammerhead which is listed at 6000 gallons an hour. The glass is regular and is 1/2 inch

That seems pricey I would've thought half that must've been mainly labor the epoxy couldn't be over 400$ the plywood probably 200$ and the glass maybe 600 or 700$ but hey all in all it was well worth it. it looks awesome

I didn't feel it was that bad, considering the prices I got for glass tanks this size. I was close to building the tank myself, but in the end, with contracting and doing a lot of the interior work myself, I did not have the time. Not to mention he has built plenty of these tanks and I did not want to second guess myself after putting 600 of water in my living room.

Well hey that's what water testing is for lol

Very Beautiful Tank. I am working on a large build myself. Right now I am still in the planning phase. How is the Reeflo pump? I have read reviews of them being noisy and also leaking. I am looking at that pump as I need to go about 16 feet of head pressure for my setup and that pump will still give me a decent GPH at that level.

Super cool tank and I can imagine what it will look like in another year or two! And how big is that Tang?? Wow!

Yeah, I spend a lot of time imagining how it will grow in :lolspin: . The unicorn is in between 9 and 10 inches if I had to guess. I picked him up from a local reefer that was breaking down a 300. He was happy seeing him go to a tank much larger. One of the reasons I went with a large tank was to have a big unicorn ,Always been one of my favorites.

I love this pump, I think it runs pretty quiet for it size. I personally have never had a leaking issue.

Wow, I really like it! What are your plans for other fishes? Pair of crosshatch triggers maybe?? :0)

Well besides a powder blue, and the Caribbean blue chromis in the qt, I don't have any other plans. Defiantly going to stay away from triggers and angels. I like my crabs ,snails, shrimp, and my awesome polyp extension on sps. I will have 25 fish and that will probably be it, still will have plenty of room for fish to grow. You never know though, I may run across something I must have.

Got in 15 different types of acro frags in today, along with 4 acan frags from yourreef.com today. Everything came in very healthy. I think I'm about maxed out on sps after this order.
