this is a 6000 gallon a friend of mine is putting in his store i told him you guys would probably get a kick out of it.

yes it is a sand filter. the sump is not hooked up yet. it is saltwater. ill have to take some more pics of the other pumps and get the dimensions of the tank. in the 2nd pic you can see a big damsel. and as you can see the sand isnt even in there yet its just laying in bags. thats it for now i will get more pics and answer as many questions for you as i can.
 
Ok, I'm along for the ride. keep us posted. What are the plans going to be for it? Giant reef or is it going to be a fish only tank ?
 
the store is in fort pierce (the-fishtore.com) dimensions are (i think) 14 foot circle 4 1/2 foot deep. ill have more pics of the other eqipment and what the plans are going to be on tuesday (might be reef might be sharks we'll see.

the water was cloudy when the owner of this tank was emptying bags i tried to get a picture of him scuba diving in the tank but my batteries ran out (damn rayovaks should have bought duracell) funny picture though. well thats it for now. does anyone know where we can get some very large porous base rock?
