6000 or 6100. Which one do I have?

Hi Roger,

I recently purchased a Tunze stream off a fellow reefer. The box it came in mentioned that it was a 6000, however when I look at the back of the actual pump, it says 6100. It was also sold to me as a 6000.

Do all models display 6100 on the back of the pump, and the only way you can differentiate between a 6000 and 6100 is the transformer?

Can you please let me know which model I have? Thanks

The motor block is part number 6100.10 but the transformer is what makes the difference. A 115V 6000 will have an 11V transformer and a 6100 will be 19V.
