6000 or 6100?

The tank will be 60 inches long and 150 gallons. I know that by flow rate I should have 2 6000s, but I will be putting them both inside the decorative rock and near if not on the bottom, inside all the rock work. I just put a 6000 in a 48 inch 75 gallon tank. The pump puts out a great deal of flow, but it seems greatly diffused by the fact that it crashes into rock and bounces around. I am wondering if the 6100 would be too strong regardless of interference by rock. These pumps are supplemental to 4 pump returning from the sump(probably Mag12 or Mag18), each having a check valve and 1 return line, going through 2 right angles. The 4 return pumps will be on timers, so only 2 will be on at a time, but should give me more than 10X turnover before the Streams are taken into account. Ideas? Opinions?

I wouldn't put the Streams on the bottom, they will take in sand and the pumps could be damaged. This is a tough call a 6100 has double the flow of a 6000 so it is a major increase and your tank is not quite big enough to really need this much flow. I would start with the 6000's and keep in mind they can be upgraded to 6100's.
