6010 vs 6100

Hi! Roger;
I have Turbelle Ã"šÃ‚¢ÃƒÂ§ Stream 6010(15W), which comes with signle controller.

But I heard that the "Turbelle Ã"šÃ‚¢ÃƒÂ§ Stream 6100(45W)" is identical with mine except the transformer voltage, which is 20 volt rather than 12 volt.

Is it ture? Then I can upgrade my Tunze by replacing the transfomer!

How can I order that part?

If the transformer is nothing but the dropping the voltage from line voltage, Can I use the one from third party if I choose the one with right electrical specification?

Yes, you only need the 7410.602 transformer to convert your pump to a 6100. They are about $67. I would not use a third party one as it is not a simple transformer, it has two hot leads and one neutral, plus all the thermal and impedence protection for the pump is in the transformer. You will void the warranty if you use another transformer.

Can the replacement transformer be ordered from any vendor, or would it have to come directly from Tunze?
