6025 Broken Bracket.

Hello, I have a 150 gallon tank with 3 6025's. Yesterday one of them fell off of the back wall (the powerhead on the inside of the tank) Took it out and checked it and found this.



Seems as tho the epoxy coating let in saltwater and then nature took over.
The swelling magnet broke out of the base and broke the base as well.

Where can a new base be gotten from?

The magnets are a separate part from the clamp, the magnets used now would be 6025.512, they are weaker and the magnets are exposed ferrite magnets, the magnet that you have is the older 6025.500, they are still available but quite expensive now, they used coated rare earth magnets. You probably can salvage your clamp, that is a 6025.510 clamp, the current clamp is 6025.650. You can order any of these parts on Tunze.com.

Thanks for the quick reply, Is there any kind of warranty on them? They are not even 5 years old yet.

The warranty is 2 years.
