6025 very noisy after cleaning

well, took the cage off to get to the impeller. Removed the impeller to check the shaft, all tight there. I just rechecked and there is no washer on the bottom of the impeller. I thought i read it should have 1 stainless one. Also the front cover is a tic loose, but none of the tabs are broke. not sure if this could add to the noise also. since cleaning the ball is loose in the mount, the one where the tabs broke off already.

Looking for help here, and thanks for the time
Joel

1) washer ??
2) cover ??
3) Mount ??

Also the sound changes as the powerhead is positioned. I can point it a tic down and it gets very loud, rotate it and the sound increases or decreases also.
Hope that makes sense.

Happy holidays,
Joel

Double check for that stainless washer, it could be loose in the pump. How old is the pump? Try squeezing down on the cover from the cord slot to the bottom to round it back out and get it locking in firmly. Do you have an older clamp that is broken? We redesigned the clamp a couple months ago and it may be cracked and that is why it is so loose.

no stainless washer anywhere to be found. clamp was broken several months ago, the clips to the base. I glued it.
I guess the pump is 9-12mo old.

Please send me the pump, it is a very early production pump and I think replacement is the best solution.

sounds great, would after the new year be ok to send it back ?
you wouldn't cross ship with a credit card would you ?
Should we include any reference with the pump ?
