6045 broken metal shaft

The metal shaft is broken at the base of the pump. What can I do to fix it?

It cannot be fixed, replacing the motor is the only option. In general I would assume for this to happen the pump has to be a very early one from 2006-2007 as we changed the metal in July 2007 and I have never heard of this happening to those made since. The preferred repair in my opinion is to send in the pump and we will discount a complete new one as so much has changed from 2007 to now, really none of the parts are identical in material and construction.

You are correct. I bought this powerhead a while back. If I send it in, how much would I need to pay to get a 6045 or 6025?
