Hi I have a nanostream 6045 in my 29g mixed reef. I love the flow and other than the return for my HOB fuge and HOB skimmer its my only flow. The problem is its creating sand dunes. Is there a strategy or best way to aim it to reduce this? Right now its high in the tank and pointing the opposite side lengthwise. I tried aiming it more directly at the surface and within the first few seconds it seemed it might be worse. Great product though :) just have to work out this issue.

I am using one in my similar dimensioned tank. I would try to keep it high and aim towards a corner slightly aimed up. Mine seems to work great that way with no sand storms. You can try to aim it towards some rock structure which I also did.
