is there any recourse with a 6045 with a broken metal drive shaft?

thank you

I am pretty sick today and heading home early, I got a cold from my kids and I can barely talk today. If you call me tomorrow, the best course is I could discount a new 6045. I suggest this because while we could just replace the motor block, the pumps this happens to are at least 7 years old and a lot has changed and it can be difficult to get old parts to fit properly and their are other wear issues and it is not a huge savings, the motor is more than half the cost of the full pump and if you even need an impeller or other part, it just isn't worth fixing them.
