Hello,
I have a 6045 that had the impeller shaft corroded to the point that it snapped off with a portion of the impeller still in the seat. It is sticking about 1-2mm up from the flat portion of the impeller insert, and I can grab it with tweezers but it won't come out. I'll have to try needlenose pliers if I can get a pair. The rest of the pump is fine except I will need to replace the shaft.
Do you have any suggestions as to how to get the piece of the shaft out? If all else fails, could I send it there to have it serviced and pay for the fees (no more warranty)?
I live in Canada but would rather pay to ship it out there than to send it to Xenia as I've had poor experiences with them.
Thanks.
