6055 Power supply

I have 3-6055 running on my tank and the other day I notice one wasn't working so start to look and see what the problem was I noticed the green power light on my 6055.240 was dim and flashing really fast, and the lights on my controller was dim and flashing too, I take it it's shot? and if so where can one get another?

I would first verify this, the blinking light can also indicate an overheat caused by a jammed pump, usually the magnet rotor is stuck to the shaft and not able to spin freely. I would be sure the drive unit is free and spinning and then try again. I would then try a known working power supply. The power supply can be ordered on tunze.com, they are in stock here and would ship from Austin, TX.

Thanks already did what you suggested so I know it's the power supply.light comes on nice and bright but every 6055 in my tank I add it to the light dims way down and none work.
and thanks I looked on your site couldn't fine it but DUH! did a search using the order # and it came right up.

Wasn't my order haven't ordered yet, will soon need to move some stock for extra money, I have 5-6055's so I used one of my back up's for now but will order one soon thanks for the Info when I order though.

Question on overheating and the 6055. I have read that these should be run at 18V and then I have also read that they can be run at 24V from the power supply. I looked in the material that came with the pump and there was no warning about using 24V. I have mine set at 18V right now as I don't want to burn them out and they are pretty expensive. Is 24V OK? Do the pumps run faster at this setting then they do at 18V?

The higher the voltage the faster the speed, the stronger the flow, 6105 is 18V, but 6055 can be run up to 24V, no problems. We recommend 18-21V to start, for a break in period of two weeks as it results in lower noise during the break in. 6105 is actually technically OK at 24V as well, just much noisier.
