Is it not uncommon for the light to burn out on the power supply? It seems to be working properly. Thanks

It is an LED and it can burn out, I have only known this to happen a few times and in one case I know of the power supply lasted over a year after this occurred. In general I think this happens because some salt moisture shorts or kills the LED and the failure of the power supply is likely not far behind.

last time I ordered a power supply, I got charged a foreign transaction fee by my credit card company. :( apparently, the transaction is considered to occur in Penzberg, Germany. There should be a warning on the tunze page that credit card company may charge a foreign transaction fee. The whole transaction appears like a US domestic purchase when in fact it is not. I think the seller should pay the fee, not the buyer.

The entire site is run in Germany, including all cc processing. We essentially drop ship it for them from the US warehouse and are later reimbursed for these shipments. I believe there is a notice now about the possibility of a foreign transaction fee and next year, paypal will be added. To be fair, the shipping on the site is quite low and probably more than offset any foreign transaction fee, at $5 flat rate to ship the power supply when the real cost at current UPS rates is between $8 and 12, you still probably came out ahead over any other option of ordering this part.

That's true, I just don't like surprises in my credit card statement. If the notice is there, it should be up front, and not buried deep in some fine print. I certainly did not see it.
Paypal automatically deducts the foreign transaction fee from the seller, so that will probably be the payment choice for US customers when that becomes available.
