6055 with 1" thick acrylic

Hi,

I was wondering if it was possible to use a 6055 with 1" thick acrylic.
I have a 90 gallon rimless that was built from 1" thick acrylic and was wondering if it was possible to mount a 6055.

I would like to use 2x 6055 due to the smaller size rather than the 6105, is it possible to use the 6055 with 1" thick acrylic ?

You would have to make a custom mount, the magnet of the 6055 or 6105 is only suitable to 3/4" material. It may work if you can mount on a thinner overflow box.
