6095 quit communicating with 7096 controller

I have a 6095 powerhead that has been connected to a 7096 for a couple of years and running just fine. Recently, I noticed the the 6095 was not running. After cleaning, troubleshooting, etc., I found that it worked OK when using the controller it came with, but when switched to External Control for the 7096, it does not run. There is a 6055 still hooked up to the 7096 that is operating OK. Is there a reset of some kind that I can complete on the 6095 to resolve? Ever heard of a 7096 output going bad?

Thanks

One possibility is the 7090 for 6095 just needs the calibration done, if the pump stops only at speeds below 50% on the 7096, this is the most likely. Otherwise I have seen either DIN port fail, corrosion can be a cause of this, the cables can also just make poor contact. I would generally try to swap ports and cables as a first step.

By 7090 calibration, do you just mean connecting it back up to a PC and flashing it again with the software settings?
