6095 setting

I am very new to Tunze 6095. i recently bought 2 6095 and a 7095 controller. I am currently running mp40, so I want to try something different. I have a 4' long tank. I want to create a best flow for my sps, but not so much that the water splash everywhere. My tank is a rimless tank. Any help would be appreciated.

A 7095 cannot produce a wave so their is no risk of water splashing out. Our generic suggestion based on mimicking natural flow of tides and washing action of waves is the following-

One pump in each back corner aimed diagonally to hit the front 3 ft away, about 6-8" below the surface.

Use Interval 2 mode, set the Interval to 5-6 hours. Set the pulse to 3 seconds and 30%/ 100%. In this setting one pump will pulse every 3 seconds from 30-100% and the other will idle at 30%, after 5-6 hours they switch off.

thanks for the quick reply, so it is similar to this figure?

Similar but not such a sharp angle, I would aim them farther across, 1ft shy of the opposite diagonal corner.

I don't mean to hijack but, I have a very similar setup (2-6095s on a 7095) in a 36" long x 24" wide x 27" tall.

A couple of questions:
What jumper should I be using on the pumps?
Would it help any if I positioned the pumps in diagonal opposite corners (one in the front left and the other in the back right both directed towards the center of the tank)?
With this type of layout, would the Interval 2 setting still be the best setup (SPS dominated tank).
Should I be plugging one pump into the 1.1 channel and the other in the 2.1 channel?
As far as pump positioning, I'm open to other suggestions. I don't mind putting the pumps on any of the three sides since it's an in-wall setup so wire aesthetics isn't a big issue for me.

thanks,
Philip

In general you will use 24V, the only reason to reduce this is if the tank is much smaller or the corals are not responding well to the stronger flow.

You don't want to point the pumps at each other as a general rule, having the flow fight each other isn't very effective. I would place one in each back corner and aim them to just past the front center and then use Interval 2, that way one pump idles at 30% while the other pulses and I would set a 5-6 hour interval so the dominant pump that is pulsing switches at that interval.

I wonder what would be an ideal setting if you have two other pumps in the tank. I have a 60" L x 30" W x 27" H 200 gallon tank. I have two existing Vortech quiet drive MP40's. This weekend I purchased two Tunzie 6095's.

Thank you for any feedback.

Where are the MP40's placed assuming you intend to keep using them? Any photos would help as rock work plays a big role as do coral type.
