good choice going with a sump....modify your bike? ha. I probably could have bought a soft tail with the money I've spent over the last 5 or 6 years in this hobby

thats a nice sump man. You would save a ton making it out of an old tank though. Things you really need to worry about the most is your PROTEIN SKIMMER that is one of the single most important things in this hobby I WOULD NOT SKIMP ON THE SKIMMER.
