6100 Mounting Kit

Hello,

I need to get the entire mounting setup for my 6100 and a new controller. Can you please tell me the part number for the mounting kits, both the magnet one and the hang on bracket?

For the 6100 the rail kits are either 6060.250 or 6200.255. 6060.250 is in stock, 6200.255 is out of stock for 2 more weeks. For a magnet holder you need three parts, 2 would have come with the rail kit that came with the pump, they are 6200.230 and 6080.400 and the magnet for up to half inch glass is 6080.500 and for 3/4 is 6200.500.

Can you tell me the difference betwee the two rail kits?

6060.250 was the original holder your pump came with. 6200.255 is a revised more secure version that came with the later 6101 as the 6080.230 piece is replaced by 6200.230 which has a screw to lock the pump down and prevent swiveling on its own. The 6200.255 includes many other parts but most are only usable on trimless tanks and won't be used in the typical US install and the swiveling issue is rare unless the pump is posistioned at a sharp angle.

If you order direct from the site, those orders come to me and we ship them from Austin. The magnet holders are not available on the site, so if you go with the magnet holder, your best bet is Premium Aquatics as they also stock the 6080.400 and 6200.230.
