Roger,
I messed up, I got the transformer block wet on my good 6100 stream right after I had fixed my broken one. The stream still works but after a week of drying out the transformer block will smoke after a few mins.I need the part number for a 6100 transformer block and price. I looked on the Tunze site and it doesn't list them in the parts.

Thanks

Just to clarify, do you need the transformer or the driver, Rodney listed the driver which is the most commonly water damaged part, usually the transformer (hockey puck) is fairly water resistant.

Roger,
I guess I need the transformer . Thats the part the smoke is coming out of. I am guessing the driver is ok since the stream will work and will switch speeds for a minute or so until the smoke comes out of the transformer and I unplug it. The smoke is coming out of a crack in the transformer (hockey puck). The crack is on the bottom side of the transformer. I had a massive water leak when a bulkhead came loose on the tank and soaked it pretty good.

Or would I be better off just to ship the whole stream to you and let you check everything out once the transformer is replaced. Its an out of warranty 6100 stream, one from the first couple of months they were out. It has the old driver without the fish care function in it.

It sounds like it is probably just the transformer then, that is part 7410.602, you can order these from Premium Aquatics, Reef Exotics, Aquarium Specialty and Tunze.com.
