6100 Problem

I am having a problem where the alarm on one of my 6100's goes off intermitently. I have tried soaking it in vinegar and cleaning it to no avail. It will work for a few days and then the alarm will start going off again. I ordered a new impeller for it however the propeller on the one i received is larger than the original one and will not spin at all. I went ahead and changed the bushing inside the pump as well as the bearing and put the old impeller back in and still have the same problem. If there is anything you can think of please let me know.

On the end of the prop in small type is the mm size of the prop, it should say 42. This is on the center circle right on top. The magnet may have a crack in it but it is possible that there is an electrical problem. Normally though a mechanical problem is the culprit if it works for a few days.

The new one i got was packaged as 6100.7 but it is a 48 not 42. I guess it may have been packaged wrong? Is there any way i can send it back as it was drop shipped from you guys last week. Name was John Bradshaw and was sent to Atlantic Beach, FL

I could just send you the 42mm prop and you can pull the old one off and press the new one on. Could you PM me your address?

Well today i tried switching out the prop on the new impeller and installing it. It still has the same problem and will not spin at all with the new impeller. The old one continues to work but sets off the alarm. Any other ideas what might be causing this or why the new impeller will not work at all?

When you changed the drive units did you install the included bearings in place of the old ones?

yeah i replaced all the old parts with the new ones.

Send it in, it must have an electrical issue.

I don't need the power supply but I need the pump and driver box.
