6100 "rebuild"

Roger, Just wondering what it would cost to get my 6100 rebuilt?
What is the process? Does it vary case by case, Or do you put all new "wet" parts in every one?

I'm upgrading to a 120g and want to start with equipment that is new or like new. looking for another 6100, I figure 2 will be plenty of flow in that small of a tank. You know where I can get one? you got any "factory demo's" or "scratch & dent"?

Basically we get a pump in, test run it, check that the watt draw is within spec and change any broken parts to get it to spec. In general if a pump runs and is clean nothing needs to be done. I would check the sales forums here and on other websites and just keep in mind any pump made before production 225 will be brown in color. I would look for pumps from series 116 or later.
