6100 trouble

Yesterday I did my normal tunze pump cleaning and while I was removing one of the pumps, I dropped the driver on the floor. I proceeded to clean the pump. After reinstalling in my tank I did not notice one of the pumps was not working. It wasn't until 6 hours later that I noticed it was not functioning. After confirming the pump was assembled properly, I began switching comp. to determne the problem. As you may guess, the driver I dropped was not working. I took it apart to see if there was anything broken but nothing. I also noticed that the transformer, although still working, was very very hot. I unplugged the pump from the system and took pics. As you can see, the transformer actually deformed. Would a damaged driver cause this to a transformer or are they seperate issues? I did not notice the deformation on the driver until I noticed the pump not working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance
