Hello Tunze,
came home from school today and after a look at my tank i noticed flow was barely moving, so i checked and my 6100's and multi controller 7095 were not working at all, i cleaned 6100's 2 months ago, but i took out the impeller for the night to soak in vinegar, hopefully this fixes any problems. also, one of my part #7210.202 is hot to the touch and bulging up the plastic at the bottom? what should i do any ideas what could have happened? i was at school all day and cant offer any more input as to what happened on my end. this sucks for me badly and my SPS are not happy i hope the dont die on me while my pumps are down. i dont have another $1000 to spend on power heads and a controller for them, im a poor college student and these are barely a year old. Thanks, Zac E.

What I usually see cause this is the drive unit is not cleaned properly- see the stickied thread at the top of this forum. The upper bearing is ignored and it is stuck to the magnet and this increases the watt draw beyond what the transformer is built to supply and it melts down. You have 6000's not 6100's. At this point the best solution is to send me the pumps and find some cheap powerheads to get you by. The multicontroller is still good but it is powered by the pumps and your transformer overheated and shut itself off. It is now toast. You are in Dallas, if you sent them today I should have them by Friday and be able to return them repaired by Monday.

roger,
sorry i have been really busy everyday since last week, im preping the package to send out to you, what should i include in the package all 3 parts for each pump (pump, blue box and driver)and the multicontroller? also if these are 6000 and not 6100, i was misinformed when i purchased them. i will include a note for you in the package with my phone # and contact info. i got the return addy off of another post.
