hello hope i can get a quick fix with out sending in maybe :-)

i have the 7095 controller with two 6101's

after unplugging them to do water change i plug them back in and neither pump would start but one was trying with small bursts (right pump) and all of the controllers lights were blinking. so after taking them apart everything was clean ect i tried again. finally one pump started to run (left pump). so i take out the right pump and tried my older controller (forget model number) dumby me plug it in with out it connected to the controller and it turns on at full speed. plug it into my older controller and it tried to start then nothing. but old controller and older 6100 runs fine which you just serviced about a year ago :-)

wondering should i send both pumps in to be looked at or is it something else please help

thanks keith

I would first check that the knob on the junction box is at 100% power, I would also try another controller cable. If neither of these is the issue it is likely the pumps, as long as the junction box didn't get wet it would be covered under warranty.

yes i played with the knob on both pumps while playing with them. i also used a new cable i had with my older controller.

sooo that being said i am guessing i need to send them into you.
i have your address and know the drill but what should i send to you? just the pumps? or controllers? power box? all the above?

The pumps are the main suspect, I think we can largely rule out the power supplies and controllers.

roger thank you for the super fast turn around and replacement of the pumps :-)

but new problem one of the power units is dead? i changes the jumper to the 18 volt ones you sent and i tried the other 18 volt jumper but will not light up :-( i also tried the cord from the other power unit and nothing very odd
