Hello,
I recently received my wavebox that I had sent in for repair and it now works great. Thank you for the excellent customer service!
Unfortunately, yesterday I noticed that my 6101 (run by a single controller) was no longer spinning. I removed it from my tank and gave it a vinegar bath and good cleaning.
I then placed it in a tub of water to test it. When I have just the power supply plugged in, the LED indicates a solid red (normal I believe). But when I connect the power supply to the pump and controller the power supply LED flashes rapidly and lights on the controller light up in a random manner. The impeller only twitches very slightly. The behavior of the power supply and pump is the same when I unplug the controller. Upon inspection it seemed like the base of the drive unit was warm to the touch after running but I'm not sure if this is normal or not.
Should I send this in? And if so, which parts should I send.
Thanks!
