6105 quit running and red light pulsing

I have 2 6105 pumps that both (one happened a while ago) quit working. I have completely cleaned them and when I plug them into the power supply, they dont run. I can see the little red light (fuse) pulse and each time it does I can feel the motor twitch a tad. I have tried multiple power supplies and they all do the same thing. Everything is clean and freely moving.

Any ideas please??

Thanks,
Scott

Repair will always be cheaper, how old are they? Be sure the impeller assembly is not stuck to the metal shaft, it should spin on the shaft not dragging the shaft with it. A blinking light usually indicates an overload and that is the most common cause.

Ok so I am having this issue and the impeller shaft is definitely stuck to the metal shaft. Looking at it there appears there is corrosion or metal flaking inside the assembly. Am I best to just order a new assembly? If so can you confirm the part number I as well have the stream 6105, hence building on prior post. Thanks

How old is the pump? There are two designs, 2008-late 2011, the shaft was removable and had a blue bushing on each end and attached to the front cover. late 2011 to present, the shaft is a permanent part of the motor and did not go all the way through the propeller assembly. The first is easily repaired by drive unit 6105.700, the newer version will depend on if the seat is in tact so a new shaft can be installed and it would need to be sent in. The shafts should not rust, since 2010 they have been Titanium, their was a small run in late 2011- early 2012 where we got the wrong shaft and it was stainless steel like the older ones.

Thanks for the quick response the purchase was made late 2015 early 2016. Do you need both the impeller and pump or just the impeller?

Not sure how relevant but the blue bushing between the assembly and bottom of shaft moves freely.

The disk should move freely, it is odd that you would have rust on that pump, are you sure it is not just GFO dust? The shaft should be Titanium Grade 2 and the impeller magnet is ceramic. Is the metal shaft still in the pump or did it pull out? The only shaft breakage and rusting I have seen is confined to pumps made between Dec 2011 and March 2012. I would like to get the motor and propeller.

apologies may have mischaracterized its not rust but there is what looks like some metallic element between the shaft and housing. Will ship out both. Thanks
