6105 won't turn off when set to "off"

I have had my 6105 for about 9 months now. Over the last couple weeks it has started to act up. I have it hooked to my Apex for control (the outlet is plugged into a standard wall outlet) and when I switch the pump to off (as in a feed mode) it will stop and then start pulsing. The pulse feels like a 0 to 30 pulse (about 5 seconds on each). Would this be a problem with the apex or the pump? Thanks!

Hard to say, the only way to verify would be to try another controller on the pump. The pump should turn on one turn or so every 20 seconds when off, that is what is referred to as "Fishcare", it is designed to frighten away any fish that might consider entering the pump when it is off.

I see. It is definitely more then just the fish scare. I'll try a changing the controller to see if that works and let you know.
