6125 Won't restart after power is lost

I've installed 2 6125 non controllable powerheads and both have the same problem. They quit working if the power is disrupted. Either they will turn but make a lot of noise or they won't turn at all. is there any reason for this to be happening?

Are they brand new just installed or have they been running for a few months? It is either calcium or debris or a wrong impeller (one for European 50Hz). I can send the impellers if that is the issue.

Since day 1 they have not functioned properly. I was unable to deal with it at the time and thought they just needed a break in. Can I check for you somehow to see if the impeller is the wrong one? I didn't want you to trouble you if this is not the issue. To be honest I'm very impressed you even cared to reply. Truth be told I was going to just switch to another brand in a few months but might just stick with Tunze.

The differences are subtle, in mm, but the issue I have encountered before is the propeller blade is correct but the magnet is wrong, a different magnet is used for 50Hz, it is slightly longer and wider. I think we can be sure that the propeller assembly is the issue as it is the only thing I know of that can cause this besides calcium build up or fine debris caught between the shaft and drive unit or use on a wave maker where frequent start and stop results in breakage and spinning backwards. If you email me a copy of the receipt we will get replacements out to you.

I cannot find my reciept and I purchased them over a year ago for a tank I was planning at home but never built. I put them to good use on my office tank after they sat around unused in boxes for a year. I am willing to pay for them because of the lack of reciept and the time I've owned them.
