6205 problem

I bought a used 6205 that has a propeller which doesn't want to spin. It worked for about an hour when I first put it into the tank but now the prop shakes a little if I plug it in but doesn't run. I have two props that came with it and they are slightly different
I'll get a pic of them soon to see which is preferred.

My guesses would be either the drive unit is stuck to the shaft, it should spin on it, or the motor is failing, the 6205 was made from 2008-2011 so they are getting to be old.

I didn't pay much for it and the power supply is good but if you could tell me which/how the drive unit should be many thanks

The one on the top looks to be correct, except the blue disk goes under the magnet, take the propeller/magnet off the shaft and flip it around so the bottom touches the black plastic in the blue cup.

The bottom one is older and looks smaller, it probably goes to another model. Both are pre 2010 as in early 2010 the propellers changed to blue.

Thank you sir. It is now working much better. I've got a 6200 and 6201 in the same tank still running strong
