I have a 1 year old 6205 that keeps stopping. I thought it just needed a cleaning but it still keeps stopping. I have to plug the power cord back into the female cord assembly to restart. I am using a 7095 controller. I have $1700+ tied up in my three pumps (the others are 6155's) and this is a PITA. This isn't the first time this has happended but not it is stopping all the time. Can anyone help?

Please send it in for repair. Please include a receipt for warranty coverage, the 6205 ceased production 09/11 so by manufacture date, very few will be under warranty. I would need the pump and power supply as well as a phone number and current return address.

Roger, I purchase early last year so its still under the 2 year warranty, correct? I will send early next week. How long will turn around take?

Yes, if you have a receipt and are the original owner, it is by date of purchase, but please include the receipt or we go by date of manufacture as it is all we can verify.

Typical turnaround is within 2 business days of receipt plus UPS ground return shipping time.

I wanted to tell you that since I disconnected the cable to my 7095 controller my pump works fine. Does this mean a bad cable or controller or is it still the pump?

The most likely culprit is the cable, but either of these possibilities could be. I would try a known working cable first.

BTW, the only way I have ever seen a 7095 fail is water damage, so you can almost rule this out if it was mounted in a dry location and no water could have entered the sockets.

Well it started to act up again so I'm going to pack up and send to you tomorrow or Friday. Let me know when you receive.
Mike
