6212 pump quit working after cleaning.

I took the pump out to clean it and now it wont start. It fluters for a second then quits but never spins.
Please help

Make sure that the bearing and oring are not inverted, the oring goes underneath the bearing. Which pump do you have 6260.100 or 6261?

I have the 6261 appears to be stamped 147. It is for sure assembled correctly. It seems as if it were running slugishly before I took it out. This is why I removed it for cleaning but it wasn't even gunked up inside disapointing.
The power supply works fine as I tested it on my nano wave box as well as the controller.
