6215 & 6212 compatability

are the 6212 and the 6215 compatable? I have the 6212, thinking of getting a 6215. Could I use the 6212 as the slave box, use either controller etc. Are there magnets for 1" thick acrylic? Thanks Sam

They are compatible, 6215 is a bit stronger. The strongest magnet for the waveboxes is for 3/4" material. For thicker material the old style rail holders are the only option.
