6300.240 power supply

Earlier this week I was fortunate enough to win a used 6055 in an auction. Received the pump today and everything looks in good shape. This is my first tunze pump but I've been in the hobby for 7 years. Strangely, the power supply i received with the pump is the 6300.240. the 6055 is normally run with the 6055.240. i haven't hooked the pump up yet to test it because i have some concerns. my question is, are there any issues/concerns to using this power supply with the 6055? I also wanted to eventually get a 7092 to control the pump. can the 7092 be used in conjunction with the 6300.240 powering a 6055?
i'm guessing that someone frankensteined this combination out of spare parts b/c the 6300.240 retails for well over half the price of a brand new 6055.
Thanks for your help and i'm glad to officially be apart of the RC community

This power supply would work, it is way overkill and worth almost as much as the pump, the main loss is that 6055.240 power supply you can adjust the voltage to set the range of pump speeds, 12, 15, 18, 20, 22 and 24 V are all possible, the 6300.240 is constant 24V. Basically the 6055.240 is a 30W power supply, the 6300.240 is 90W, you don't need so much, the pump only draws 18W.
