6g NanoCube Pump Upgrade

Does anyone have any suggestions for an upgrade pump for the 66 nanocube. I will need something small enough to fit with adequate water flow. Thanks for your suggestions in advace.

I read about people using the MicroJet, MiniJet, or some of the smaller MaxiJets in their 6g nanocubes.

i have 4 nanocubes. ive tested almost every pump that might work for the nanocube. but if you do get the minijet 606, remove the little yellow knob on it. you do not need it. it will give you even more flow.

my only complaint with minijet is it can clog easily if you have macro in the 1/2 chambers. otherwise its good.

Great little tank, should of gone with the 12g though.
Already need more room for corals after only 3 months.

i agree i think the 12 dx is the best deal.

good decision, while your down there you should pick up a maxijet 1200 and a hydor flo if you want a wave effect, since everything is on sale this weekend.

I will be - I've been watching your recommendations pretty closely, as what she tells me she wants is basically *your* tank :lol: so I'll be trying to duplicate it as closely as possible.

The new cubes supposedly have an upgraded pump - should be interesting to see how it works - I'll definately be inspecting the tank it there for scratches and cracks before I take it home

good idea! opening the tank before you pay for it. either way , that fish place will take returns so your safe.
