7' tank too small for crosshatch?

Hi,

Are crosshatch triggers generally known as strong swimmers?

I recently added a 7" female crosshatch to our 7 foot long 205. She's incredibly active and looks cramped in the tank. Should I transfer her to our 750 for more legroom/finroom or will she settle down? The 750 has a 9" Pink Tail trigger that I'm worried might object to her moving in to the neighborhood.

I don't think a 7' tank is too small, but I also think that the 2 fish would get along in a 750. Either way would be fine.

I have a similar tank and did not get the crosshatch because the tank is too small. On the other hand she should get along well in your larger tank. My larger tank is not long but tall and deep

Thanks for the responses, guys. The tank is 21" wide and 27" tall. Steve, I think you made the right call. I'll move her over to the 750 if she doesn't look more settled by this weekend.

Well it was tough because I really wanted to buy this fish (it was a gorgeous male) but I just could not see it being happy. In your larger tank, it should thrive. A really great fish!

Sure, rssjsb :). There are a few shots here
