7074/2 calibration issue

Hi Roger

I've recently bought a secondhand full Tunze reactor kit.
my problem is that the ph controller reads perfectly with the battery attached but when I attach the solenoid valve and remove the battery the Ph reading sticks at -9.42.

Do have any idea as to why?

My guess is there is some water damage to the solenoid or the solenoid connection so the unit is not getting sufficient power, it could also be the board of the controller. I would contact Tunze UK about repair.
