7095 auto nightmode/moonlight operation ??

I read the manual, but am still confused. How do I setup the controller to sense light and activate the night mode and turn on the moonlight? I want it go from interval with pulse to night mode with moonlight.

Mind giving me a run down, I read the instructions on mine but never really missed with it... I would like to set it up now that I think about it.

the key is you need the moonlight/light sensor setup to "sense" your lights are on/off. Then just press the button so night mode and moonlight is red. When the lights go off, night mode and moonlight activates. If you only want one or the other to activate, just have that light illuminated on the controller.
