I have a wavebox and the controller turn off the wavebox at night. But I was setting up my tunze with 7095 controller and I can't get the controller into " night mode " when the light turn off. I have to press the button for the moon light and night mode to work and to lower down the pumps. It's correct that those two modes have to be activate manually ? is there away to set it up so when the light turn off the night mode kick in automatic ?

Thank you.

You don't have to do it manually. All you have to do is keep on pressing the button till you see both night mode and moon light is lighted then the pump will slow down whenever your light is off.

thank you for your help. I pressed the button and both night/moon are lid up but when I turn the light off the pumps continue full power.

There have to be a trick for this, my controll is set at interval 2, set at 30 sec, channal 1 and 2 pumps are running at 80% while the other is at 30%, witching back/forth. The pulse dial is at the middle.
Both moon/night lights are lid up, but when I turn the lights off. Still pumps are running at 80/30% just like it was with the lights are on.

Nightmode is whatever you set the bottom knobs on each channel to. During day the pump should pulse between the top and bottom knobs at whatever the pulse interval is set and at night it stays on the bottom knob setting.

Why not set the top knobs at a different speed. The pulsing action is one of the great features of the pump.

That is fine. Personally I would probably reverse it, just because I don't want my tank so calm at night. In my opinion stopping the pulse is enough "calm" and 30% flow will exasperate the night pH drop.

Roger,

So you are saying, you would keep verything the same, but the top knobs are now at 30% and the bottom knobs are at 100% @ interval 2 @ 30sec.

Would this have enought flow during the day and night time ? I am new to this thank you for your help.

** the pulse dial is at min or o right now **

I have 2 x 6100 pumps on both sides / top of the tank in the back facing at the angle aiming to the center of the tank.

The other 2 x 6100 pumps are on both sides bottom corner / in the back wall are aiming behind the rocks / back wall.

I also have a wave box and a DOC skimmer 9010, would the wavebox effect the performence of the skimmer due to the wave ?

Ok, turn the pulse to 3, then every 3 seconds during the day the pumps go from 30 to 100 and back to 30 etc. At night the pumps would stay at 100% and stop pulsing. Right now I think you have pulsing turned off.

I dont even have my tank set up yet, but I made a mess in the bathroom last night playing with the controller/6000/6100. :) I bought them used, so I dont have a manual with the controller. I was having sort of the same issue as belowthesea. When I click to have both night mode and moonlight on, they are both on, no turning off. Whether the bathroom lights were on, the moonlight was still glowing, and the pumps were still only powered by the bottom selector.

Any idea on that?

Any clue where I could order a manual for the controller?

Uhm. Geez. Please pay no attention to that. I was too impatient waiting for it to come out of night mode when I turned the lights on :)
