7096 controller and Windows 7

Does anyone know if the 7096 controller works with Windows 7 which has just been released?

Yes, it was tested with XP, Vista, and 7.

Bump to an old thread.

I'm looking to upgrade to 64 bit Windows 7. Is this still compatible?

That I do not know, I will need to check. I would imagine it would work but in 32 bit mode. I know MS Office is 32bit only and still works in 64bit Windows.

Windows 7 has multiple versions. They have one version which supposed to run any Win XP program (I suppose with an emulator). The base version does not have that functionality from my understanding.

So that is why I ask. I don't want to spend money upgrading if not necessary.

I asked Mr. Tunze and it has not been tested on Windows 7 64bit, however it has been tested on Vista 64bit and he felt it was almost certain it would work.
