7096 controller not taking program from computer

When I upload it gives me an error. Also I'm not sure exactly how to set up my two pumps I've got them in pulse mode now connected to 1 and 4 ports. But they pulse at the same time? Shouldn't they alternate back and forth? I updated like you told me to do and that's when it started not uploading

Can you clarify? Is it the program is not working as you want it to or the computer can no longer connect to the controller (i.e. NO DEVICE FOUND).

Program meaning after I set times and such on the computer in the tunze controller screen it does not accept the upload to the 7096.

Hmm, I have not encountered such an error before. I would probably try shutting down the computer and restarting it and then reopen the program. I would also double check the USB cable, it may be damaged in such a way that it can receive from the controller but not send. Craig should be in tomorrow, he was out with a cold today and he is far more knowledgeable about Windows and troubleshooting the controller.

Thanks. I'll try a reboot. What setting up to pumps. With ports should the two be plugged into? 1 and 3 or 4. Am I right that I want the pumps pulsing back and forth? Mine pulse at the same time now. I'm plugged into 1 and 4. Pulse set to 8 sec.

So long as one is plugged into 1 or 2 and one is plugged into 3 or 4 and you select Interval mode and set 2 speeds for each pump, they should pulse at the number of pulse seconds and alternate at the number of Interval minutes and hours. Keep in mind that if night mode is on and the photocell is in darkness, pulsing will stop.

It's all working now. Thanks. I'm just going to sit and mess until I find a good flow, wave pattern

I got your voice mail and have your number, when Craig gets in, I will have him call, I am not nearly as computer literate as he is. I can work with the 7096 when everything goes right, but he knows much more about why they might act up.
