7096 Multicontroller Problem

I finally got around to set up my 7096 attached to a wavebox 6212 and a older brown 6100. I have all of my settings working and sent it to the controller, but it doesn't do anything. I have even tried receiving the info back from the controller and it shows up correctly, so what am I doing wrong? The only way I can get the wavebox to work is if I hit the start button to try and figure out how long the waves should be and then I can just unplug the usb cord while the time goes up. The 6100 either just is on a low power or doesn't turn on at all. I have the 6100 on input 1 and the wave box on 3. Any suggestions? I hope I am just missing something on the setup?

Are you sure the photocell is not in a dark location? It sounds like it is in night mode. You might try the same program with night mode turned off to confirm.
