Hi Guys,

I'm having some trouble with a 7096 controller that I got today to run 2 6105s.

I have the 'no unit found error'

So far I have tried:
downloading new tunze software
downloading a new driver for windows 7 64 bit
I have changed the com ports as per the troubleshooting guide

is it normal for none of the leds to be lit?

Regards

Also tried running in compatibility mode for older versions of windows.

Can't really find anything else on the tunze site or here to try.

Thanks

With no lit LED's their is likely a firmware failure and it will need to be sent in for a firmware reboot.

ok, thanks for the reply. I will return it to the retailer as it was this way out of the box.
Thanks

Hi Roger,
The unit has been exchanged and I am now able to connect it to the PC ok.
I have tried quite a number of different setups but notice on all of them that the night mode does not seem to reduce the flow.
Also the wavebox function just leaves any connected pump not running. Any suggestions?

Thank you

In all modes except wavemode, night mode stops the pulsing and locks in speed 1, so you need to set speed 1 to be the lower speed in your pulse pattern to see a reduction in speed in night mode. Wavemode turns off at night since the splashing of the wave is an annoyance to most people when trying to sleep.

I have 2 6105 running in interval mode, power 1 30% power 2 70%, interval timer 1 minute, sockets 1 & 3 used. storm mode checked, night mode checked, moonlight unchecked.
What I actually see is one pump on with no variation of output and the other pump is completely off and then this switches after 1 minute.
In pulse mode a do see a variation in output i.e a pulsing action.
There is no difference with the light sensor exposed to light or not in either mode.

For both sockets used, 1 and 3, you have set the same power 1 30% and power 2 70%? Wavebox modebeing off points to a photocell that is in too dark of a position, this can be an issue with LED lighting since the light is from many small sources and may pass by the small photocell, try placing it in a different position. Night mode will stop pulsing and hold the pumps at power 1 in all modes except wavemode where the pumps will just be off.

you are right, the tank is lit with Teszla LEDs, I will try moving the photo cell
thanks very much

I just moved the sensor just a tiny bit and now all modes are working as they should.

Thank you very much for your help
