Hey, My name is Will. I have a 70w Viper MH fixture that I do not need. It comes with the 14000K bulb with about 5months of use on it. I managed to crack the mounting bracket, but I used a bit of weld-on on it and it has been good as new ever since. $65 picked up. I met Richard this past weekend, I hope that he would agree that I am not trying to take advantage of anyone. Just unload some stuff.

Cheers
Will

Thanks for the great deal on the vivarium. I have fruit fly cultures ordered. Think I will get Dendrobates tincturius. They seem fairly easy to keep.
Good luck with this sale. I think it's an awesome deal.

Tincts are awesome. There are so many color variants. I always had thumbnails. I was always amazed by how small they are.
BTW Richard, I found another misting nozzle and some elbows and stuff. I will drop them by the store next time I am out that way.
Cheers

Rendos, I have tons of drosophila. I'm a drosophila neurobiologist. If you need later, i can give you some with instant food.

Okay, I thought what the heck is a fly biologist? Must be one of those government funded things where we spend billions (i.e. borrow from China) to find out why a fly sleeps on their side at night or something. :wildone: Well, I looked it up and it is pretty interesting.....a fly of the genus Drosophila, Fruit flies are commonly used in genetics research because their lifespan is short, they are easy to breed in the laboratory, and mutants are widely available. There are about 1,500 known species. ...used extensively in genetic research

Whatever you do, do not let one of the flies get in a telepod with you.....it never ends well.....(The movie The Fly for those that didn't get that).

Do you need flies Kerry? Ha ha...

Well, I had ordered some equipment to start up my Fly Lab and get things buzzing, but once I learned my pet flies would all die in two weeks, it was too much heartache, so I have decided to leave it up to the professionals.

Also thought I would get paranoid with all those eyes looking at me all the time....................

What do you call a fly without wings..............a walk.

Fun question.. There is a mutant called wingless. It looks like an ant. If I find a new mutant lacking wings like wingless, I'll name it a walk. Thanks...
