Critter Kreeper
Alrighty, well I've chosen my tank and now it's time for the equipment.

Here is a list of my order I'm about to place with Premium Aquatics (I'm local).

Calcium Reactor
Geo618 Econ Pkg

Protein Skimmer
Octopus MSX 350

Lights
(3) IceCap 250 MH Elec Ballast
(3)250 MH Bulbs 14k Hamilton
(3) Reflectors (LUMENBRIGHTS?)

Return Pump
ReeFlo Dart 3600gph

Circulation Pump
Tunze 6105 3500gph x2

(OR) Tunze 6105 and ReeFlo Dart

Phosphate Reactor
Precision Marine 45 (26”)
MJ 1200 pump

Heater
2x400watt

Controller
Neptune JR with PH/Temp Probe and DC8. I can always
add ORP monitor through Neptune or another company right?

Live Rock
200-250lbs fiji live rock
200-250lbs south lace dry base

Sybon Refractometer

I'm going to go with Seachem Reef salt.

All of these are picked with a budget in mind so if your going to recommend a BubbleKing skimmer feel free to send me a check for the difference

I know that three lights is kind of skimpy but the shape of the aquascape will be a lagoon "U" shape and that I will be placing the halides 14"-18" above the water directly over the rock/coral so I think that will be enough?

So, anybody care to off opinions???

The neptune jr can not have an ORP probe attached to it. Think you need the aquacontroller 3 or pro for that option. What kind of budget are you working with here?

Octopus MSX 350?
Are you referring to the extreme 300?

I would look into the new reefkeeper lite.I know its not quite out but bye the time you get close it will be out.You can preorder it now and the 3rd package they have for it has an orp probe outlet..would just have to buy the probe in the future

SHOOT: I was referring to the MSX Extreme 350 which is a step above the 300 model. Premium Aquatics carries it for sure but I'm not sure who else does.

ROCKY: I thought you can buy a module for the jr that allows you to run ORP and other additional probes? I guess I can always buy a different controller and monitor for ORP if I had to....

375G tank may need more flow. Could get some koralia's until the budget allows for more tunze. May want to use some vho's or t5's later to come on first and last to create a sunrise/ sunset effect. Wish ya lived closer. Got the stuff in the garage you could just grab and try.
